Docking

The course usually starts on a Thursday at 6 pm with a safety briefing and ends on a Sunday at around 2 pm. It is designed to help sailors enhance their docking and maneuvering skills in various conditions. You will be taught:

• techniques for approaching docks, slips and moorings,
• basic maneuvers: bow, stern and side-docking,
• use of spring lines and fender placement,
• docking in confined spaces, handling strong winds, etc.

Its price is EUR 520 per person, covering light meals and accommodation aboard the yacht. Please note that there is no fixed course itinerary, since it is always adjusted according to individual needs and weather conditions.

Miles Building

The Miles Building trip usually starts on a Sunday at 6 pm with a safety briefing and ends on a Friday at around 2 pm. It costs EUR 780 per person, covering light meals and accommodation aboard they yacht. The route includes Thassos, Samothrace, Lemnos, Lesvos, and a part of the Turkish straits, covering over 400 nautical miles in 5 days.

UK Sail

In this course you will:

• learn how to calculate tides and current,
• do night passages in the most demanding area of Europe,
• sail next to big cargo ships,
• sail with strong Atlantic winds and high currents,
• do all possible dockings with currents,
• sleep in a different marina and town every night,
• practice advanced meteorology and advanced docking exercises.

The places that you will visit are:

• Southampton (Town Quay Marina and Port Hamble Marina),
• Portsmouth (Spinnaker Tower and Port Solent),
• Isle of Wight (Cowes Yacht Haven).

Its price is EUR 1,300 and it includes light meals and accommodation (with heating) on the yacht, as well as all costs related to the facilities that can be used in the marina (power, water, laundry, etc.). Please note that flight expenses are not included in the price.

Platu 25 Racing Experience
