Competent Crew
Learn to skipper a cruising yacht in non-tidal waters. This 5-day course focuses on navigation, boat handling, and leadership onboard, making it the most sought-after RYA course.
Day Skipper
A 5-day introductory course for beginners that teaches personal safety, basic helmsmanship, and how to be a valuable crew member.
Coastal Skipper
Advanced classroom training covering navigation, tidal planning, weather, safety, and collision regulations over 55-60 hours.
Yachtmaster Coastal & Offshore Preparation
Designed for experienced sailors, these courses help candidates refine their passage planning, boat handling, and emergency management skills, leading to recognized Yachtmaster certifications.
Powerboat Level 2
A 2-day course covering high-speed maneuvers, navigation, and safety, providing the foundation for the International Certificate of Competence.
RYA Shore-based courses
Enhance your understanding of sailing theory and safety procedures with the RYA SRC (Short Range Radio) course, a mandatory training for operating marine VHF radios, covering DSC, emergency protocols, and legal requirements. Additionally, the RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship course offers beginner-friendly training on basic navigation, pilotage, rope work, and safety awareness, making it ideal for new crew members or yacht owners.
